Get the Look: Jada Pinkett Smith and Gwyneth Paltrow at the Grammy Awards

Jada Pinkett Smith attended the 2011 Grammy’s with a beautiful voluminous style created by celebrity hairstylist Marcia Hamilton. To start, Hamilton washed the hair using White Sands Vegan Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner and gently towel dried it before spraying Porosity The Fix from roots to ends. Starting at the center, she created vertical sections running from the forehead to the nape and cornrowed them straight back. Using IT&LY HAIRFASHION Ionic Blow Dryer, she dried the hair completely and applied Pure Water Drops to her hands before undoing the cornrows. To finish, she asked Smith to flip her hair upside down to add volume and finger combed more Pure Water Drops through the hair to secure the look.

Also at the event was Gwyneth Paltrow with a “wild bohemian” look created by celebrity hairstylist David Babaii. To achieve it, he gently massaged Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment into clean hair before using IT&LY HAIRFASHION Ionic Blow Dryer to rough dry the hair for texture and volume. He then made a center part and wrapped a 1-inch curling iron around random sections—focusing on curling only the center portion in some sections while curling everything but the tips on others—to create uneven curl patterns. Upon cooling, Babaii ran his fingers upwards in a “fanning” motion through the strands and worked in Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment to hold the tousled look. —Clarissa Nebuya
