Stylist Robert Ramos topped off Jessica Alba’s bright coral gown with a glamorous old Hollywood ’do created with T3 styling tools.

Create the Look:

Using only the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i and your hands, blow-dry hair completely. Curl strands with SinglePass Twirl curling iron, pin each curl, and let them cool. “It’s very important to let hair cool completely when curls are setting,” Ramos says. Once cool, remove the pins and brush vigorously to achieve desired waves. Finish with a spritz of hairspray and tuck the hair behind one ear for an asymmetrical look.

Connie Britton, nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series–Drama, channeled Ava Gardner and 1940s glamour in her soft ’do created by stylist Rod Ortega, who used T3 styling tools.

Create the Look:

Blow-dry 1-inch sections of hair with a T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i and AntiGravity 2.5-inch Barrel Brush until hair is completely dry. Set the hair with hairspray and Voluminous Hot Rollers, beginning at the nape of neck with 1.75-inch rollers and finishing at the sides and the top of the head with 1.5-inch rollers. Once cooled after 15 minutes, remove rollers and brush the hair with Free Flow Vent Brush creating shiny, voluminous waves. Brush into desired shape and spray to set.

For her turn as Best Actress nominee, Emily Blunt’s stylist Laini Reeves topped her golden Michael Kors gown with a sophisticated high- placed bun a la Audrey Hepburn using Moroccanoil products.

Create the Look:

Reeves shampooed and conditioned hair with Moroccanoil Extra Volume Shampoo and Extra Volume Conditioner and followed with Volumizing Mousse and Hydrating Styling Cream on damp hair. Rough blow-dry hair upside down using fingers to separate strands and create texture. Once dry, bring all hair into a high ponytail, using only fingers to keep texture, and secure at the crown with a hair band. Spray ponytail from root to tip with Luminous Hairspray Medium and create a loose bun by twisting around fingers. Adjust size of bun to suit bone-structure and secure in place with bobby pins. Finish by pulling at the bun to add texture and with a spritz of Luminous Hairspray Medium on the comb, comb through hair on top of head to smooth the hairline.

Laini Reeves used Moroccanoil products to create a vintage-inspired loose bun mirroring the flowing fabric of Amy Adams’ nude-colored Marchesa gown.

Create the Look:

Prep the hair with Moroccanoil Extra Volume Shampoo and Extra Volume Conditioner to add shine and volume. Make a side part and use fingers to roughly dry hair. Place a clip at a face-flattering point alongside the corner of the eyebrow where the wave should begin. Mist Glimmer Shine Spray all-over and use a large crimping iron to form waves with two-inch vertical sections. Then, pull hair into a low ponytail and roll into a bun, supported with gold bobby pins and loosened slightly for an airy look. Finish with a misting of Luminous Hairspray Medium on the entire look for a natural-looking hold with shine.

For Naomi Watts’ nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture– Drama, stylist Giannandrea Marongiu used Matrix products to create a faux, side-swept bob, a classic look inspired by Carole Lombard and other Hollywood greats.

Create the Look:

Starting with wet hair, spray Matrix Total Results Blonde Care Flash Filler evenly throughout and Total Results Amplify Foam Volumizer on roots and halfway through hair. Blow-dry with a medium round brush in sections to create soft fullness and make a deep side part. Curl hair in sections using a ½ inch curling iron and spray Total Results Amplify Hairspray on each section before curling. Gently brush out curls for soft waves.  Add texture with Design Pulse Mega Dust on a boar bristle brush and gentle brushing. Tame flyaways with a pea-sized amount of Biolage ExquisiteOil Replenishing Treatment. To create the faux bob, tied a rubber band halfway down the length and fold hair up and under, pinning in place at the nape of the neck. Finish by shaping waves to frame the face.
