IBS Speaker Spotlight: Destiny Cox

It's the final countdown. After months of preparation, The International Beauty Show New York is five days away. For three straight days, beauty gurus from all different professions will convene in New York City for the nation's longest-running beauty show, and we hope to see you there. 

Among many others, one of the show's biggest highlights is the world class education available to attendees, including 100 free classes, pay-to-attend master classes and additional hands-on workshops. Leading up to the event, we'll be highlighting several speakers and educators that you'll want to add to your list of must-sees. Today, we're sharing the lowdown on Destiny Cox. 

Who:  Destiny Cox is a global educator, platform artist & founder of DCI Academy. She is an award-winning colorist and recipient of the prestigious Professional Hair Stylist Awar, awarded at the Bronner Bros. International Beauty Show 2018.

With over 20 years experience in owning a salon and now an advanced training academy, Cox mentors beauty professionals and assists entrepreneurs in reaching their highest potential. She has traveled the world to gain a wealth of knowledge and hone her craft to share with this industry.

Additionally, Cox is the author of numerous beauty curriculums and educational materials for students, instructors and beauty schools used in Canada, U.S. & Puerto Rico. 

What: At this year's IBS New York, Cox will be presenting three powerful presentations exploring the hottest trends for color & texture with a limitless arsenal of marketing ideas and proven concepts to grow as an artist in 2018. Her signature courses, incluuding Secrets of a Colorist: Coils, Kinks & Curls, Tips & Tricks of Global Texture, and #NoSlowDays were specifically developed for professionals to learn new techniques and help them to capitalize on emerging platforms of social media.
