Industry Professionals Join the Millennium Experience 2015

Millennium Systems International held The Millennium Experience 2015 from June 28- 30 at the JW Marriott Camelback Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ.  The three-day conference featured courses taught by some of the industry’s biggest stars, including Nick Arrojo, who taught a business practice course in addition to a demonstration class in the art and craft of the fashionable razor cut; celebrity stylist Kim Vo, who gave a demonstration in blonding; FreeSalonEducation.com Founder Matt Beck, who taught Tips to Building Your Brand on YouTube; and Hairbrained cofounder Gerard Scarpaci, who taught the course Use Instagram to Build Your Brand.

Attendees also participated in roundtable discussions led by education specialists and business leaders, where salon owners, managers and stylists shared their own experiences and goals for social media, goal setting, retaining customers, and other topics. The event kicked off with a runway hair show by Farouk Systems, and New York stylist Mark Bustos gave a special presentation during Monday’s general session, where he shared his touching story and the inspiration behind giving free haircuts to the homeless every Sunday. The event also featured numerous fun social gatherings, where attendees gathered to mix and mingle, including a Wild Wild West Party and an Owners Social: Live! with John Harms.
