Ivan Zoot, director of education with the Andis Company and winner of three Guiness World Records for haircuts, is educating stylists on how to increase business with Andis' new Envy clipper at national shows and regional events across the U.S. in 2012. The class title, Green with Envy, was inspired by the idea that salon's will see a cash increase after Zoot's class.
"Men's haircutting is the fastest growing segment of the beauty industry," said Zoot. "If you want to capture the dollars that are rightfully yours in this segment, you need to be able to clipper cut. Clipper cutting has never been easier than it is with the new Andis Envy."
Models will be presented at each class, where Zoot will demonstrate how to evaluate men's face shapes, hair density and texture and style the appropriate haircut. He will also focus on the features of the clipper that promote quick, efficient haircutting.
Green with Envy classes will be held in winter at International Salon and Spa Expo in Long Beach, CA from January 28th to 3rd; in spring at America's Beauty Show in Chicago from March 3rd to 5th and the International Beauty Show in New York from April 22nd to 24th; in summer at Premiere Orlando International Beauty Event from June 2nd to 4th; and in fall at the Midwest International Salon and Spa Expo in Rosemont, IL from November 4th to 5th.
