Join the Beauty Business and Help Kick Cancer at 'Rock the Cure'

"Rock the Cure: “Decades” is an all-star charity concert presented by The Tribe, a collective of over 40 of L.A.’s top session and touring musicians and singers that perform multimedia musical fundraising events for causes throughout Los Angeles. This unique evening, taking place at the El Rey Theatre in L.A.’s Miracle Mile, will be represented by some of L.A.’s most recognized and respected celebrity guests from the hair and beauty industry, including Kim Vo, Sara Jones, Jim Markham, John Simpson, Christopher Dove, Alexandrea Villareal, Hosway Morbak, Jessica Warburton, Ginger Burton, Robert Cromeans, and Maile Pacheco, who will be showcasing the hair styles and musical trends of the '50s through today. Master of Ceremonies is Steven Goddard.

Proceeds from this concert will benefit City of Hope, a leader in research and treatment of cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses at the forefront for compassionate patient care since 1913. Through ground-breaking work by top researcher, patients at City of Hope live fuller, happier lives. City of Hope is one of 49 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation.

Since 2015, The Tribe has raised over $1 million for local charities through sold-out concerts at L.A. area venues including The Canyon Agoura Hills, El Rey Theatre, Palace Theatre in downtown L.A., CSUN’s Plaza Del Sol Performance Hall, and Bogies in Westlake Village. Proceeds support charities helping people and the environment including City of Hope, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, MusiCares®, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, The Teen Project, My Stuff Bags, Beauty Bus Foundation, TreePeople, Rescue Train, Project Play!, Pure Water for the World, Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation, LA Fire Department’s Spark of Love Toy Drive, the Midnight Mission, L.A. Fire Department’s Thomas Fire Fund, and The United Way of Ventura County.
