The hotels will be including four special JPMS products as in-room amenities to the guests. The products featured are Awapuhi Shampoo, The Detangler, and Tea Tree Lemon Sage Energizing Body Lotion and Wash.

JPMS Co-Founder and CEO John Paul DeJoria and Marriott International's Senior Vice President of Global Brand Management Brian King were both on hand at Raika Studio to talk about and celebrate the new partnership.

“We know quality amenities can make the difference between a good hotel stay and a memorable one,” said King. “Research shows us that guests really want a brand name when it comes to shampoo and conditioner. This partnership allows us to feature great products that guests recognize and value, thereby enhancing their overall travel experience.”

Additionally, both King and DeJoria noted one of the major reasons behind the merger of these two brands in this capacity is how each company is similar in values. “In researching partners, we look for alignment in a variety of angles including social responsibility views,” said King. “Paul Mitchell was the first beauty supply company to announce that they do not conduct or endorse animal testing. Overall, this is a perfect fit for us and a great win for guests.” —  Jolene Turner, Senior Editor, American Salon
