Last night all the stars of the highly anticipated film The Dark Knight Rises came out for the New York premiere of director Christopher Nolan’s third and final film of the series. Actress Juno Temple wore a simple black frock by Miu Miu and celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson, using his own line, gave the how-to on whipping her hair into this beautiful topknot shape. —Aja Edwards
First Ted used Build It Blow-Drying Spray to add sleekness and control to Temple’s naturally very curly hair. Next, Gibson flat ironed her entire head and used Tame It Shine Lotion to add texture and calm any frizz due to the humidity. After putting Temple’s hair into a ponytail at the top of her head, Gibson backcombed the ponytail and twisted it to create a perfect, voluminous topknot. To finish, he sprayed the hair with Beautiful Hold Hairspray to ensure the style would last all night.
