The Emmys are around the corner and celebrity stylist Kim Vo will be covering the latest beauty and style trends for TV Guide on September 20. Here are some of his predictions for the red carpet on Emmy night:
• This year we are going to see a lot more structure on the red carpet.
• The '80s are HOT!!! We'll see big hair with big curls that are structured, not tousled.
• Updos will be showing full foreheads and full face with no bangs, embellished with one point of interest.
• Updos will be age appropriate. Tweens will be seen in half up/half down updos; 20-somethings will look bohemian chic, with twists replacing braids; and leading ladies will wear classic updos like French twists or chignons.
