Matrix has taken its mission statement, “Reach all, teach all,” a step further by launching an education program designed for Spanish-speaking stylists in the United States. Matrix En Español targets stylists in Spanish-speaking areas with classes that provide in-depth information about Matrix products and techniques, according to Martin Dale, Matrix vice president of education. The company organized a team of 11 Spanish-speaking educators, headed by Matrix Artist Robert Santana. As part of the program, Santana and his team compiled a photo collection of new looks with how-tos. Santana and his team are offering 150 classes that reach more than 3,000 hairdressers in 2014, Dale says. “We have charged Robert and his team with creating and guiding the looks and the education that are most relevant to the Spanish-speaking community, and to hold the standard moving forward.” Matrix Spanish-language education is available through in-store classes, as well as on mymatrixfamily.com. —C.R.
