LBP’s Idealogue: The Social Media Sessions in Collaboration with American Salon

Get ready for an industry first. Luxury Brand Partners, in exclusive collaboration with American Salon, will host a first-of-its-kind social media and digital conference for the professional salon industry. On October 21 to 22, Idealogue: The Social Media Sessions will feature a series of engaging panel discussions, TED-style talks, interactive chats, a keynote speech and an intimate Q&A with New York Times best-selling author, social media guru and entrepreneur, Gary Vaynerchuk (@garyvee). “He is, hands down, the most entrepreneurial person in the social media world,” says Tev Finger, President and CEO of Luxury Brand Partners. The killer lineup of today’s leading social media minds and influencers includes: Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri, celebrity stylists and co-founders of NineZeroOne Salon (@ninezeroone);

Nina Kovner, Passion Sqaured owner (@passionsquared); Harry (Bee) Bernstein, founder of digital agency and Snapchat Creative Partner, The 88 (@harrybeenyc); Frankie Greek, Snapchat personality (@wtfrankie); Gordon Miller, American Salon’s Publisher and VP of Integrated Media (@gordonm). Also announced are stylists Heather Chapman (@heatherchapmanhair), Jenny Strebe (@theconfessionsofahairstylist), Ricardo Santiago (@stylistricardosantiago), Philip Ring (@phildoeshair), Cassandra McGlaughlin (@cassandraplatinum), @andrewdoeshair, Larisa Love (@larisadoll), Matt Beck (@freesaloneducation), and Carlos Ramos (@sugarskulls).

Social and digital media have proven themselves to be game changers for the salon industry, salon professionals and the brands that support them. They’ve hypercharged our ability to learn, connect and market, and there’s no doubt the future holds tremendous potential to unlock a greater level of success. As part of this unique collaboration with Luxury Brand Partners, American Salon Publisher Gordon Miller will moderate three panels—featuring leading beauty professionals on Instagram Best Practices, Developing Engaging Social Content, and Service Categories Supercharged by Social Media—and report from the event live across all of its social media platforms. “American Salon loves social media, and Gordon Miller is considered one of the vanguard digital experts for the hair industry,” says Finger. “Over the years, we’ve discussed our common desire bring the top digital content to our audiences. And it was just natural to say let’s do this together and make it twice as powerful,” says Finger.
