Make Up For Ever is extending their ‘Backstage Card Program.’ Originally created to offer product discounts for make up artists, the program will now provide beauty professionals with access to continuing education, special industry events, product previews and more.
Make Up For Ever is implementing this program expansion in the hopes of building its network of established and up-and-coming make up artists by offering them new benefits and VIP access to professional events like trade shows, professional socials and educational seminars at discounted rates.
The Backstage Card Program now has three tiers of membership discounts. The Make-Up Artist level offers a 40 percent discount to all make up artists who can provide proof of documentation, and agency-represented artists will now be automatically enrolled in the program; the Student tier offers a 20 percent discount to currently enrolled or licensed graduates of accredited schools in cosmetics, cosmetology or esthetics; and the Industry Professional level offers a 20 percent discount to all beauty and entertainment professionals who are required to use make up in their career or craft, such as models, actors, dancers, salon professionals, photographers, fashion stylists and stage performers.
