The Brazilian Wax is one of the most brilliant waxes of our time— and it's sticking around (literally!). Not to mention all the money to be made ...
There are many aspects of the Brazilian Wax, but the most important is proper training. There is nothing worse than a bad Brazilian; it leads to a bad reputation. So, I make all my girls give me a Brazilian Wax as part of their training, and I think this is a fabulous idea to adopt. It is my responsibility to make sure they’re doing a rockin' job on Boom Boom's behalf.
And another thing, a Brazilian should be fast, meaning 10-15 minutes. It's actually easier than an eyebrow wax. Big long confident pulls are the name of the game, you should feel like the Queen of the Amazon in that back room.
Tricks of the Trade:
- Coat the inside of the labia with pure Shea butter so wax will not adhere to the innards - after all, they are pretty important.
- MY BIGGEST THING is no double dipping, ever! The wax is not kept at a hot enough temperature to kill any strain of bacteria, including HPV and Herpes – yikes!
- On that note, always wear gloves! These days, people want to know that salons are clean, and they are willing to pay more for sanitary services.
