Mane Attraction Salon Raises More $17,000 at Pet Fundraiser

The Phoenix-based Mane Attraction Salon teamed up with RESCUE (Reducing Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education) to raise more than $17,000 at 12th Annual Pet Fundraiser earlier this month.

The fundraiser involved on-site salon services, pet-themed vendors and a silent auction. Those involved are dedicated to fighting against pet euthanasia. To date, the event has raised more than $185,000 and offered abandoned pets the opportunity for adoption.

“We have a special place in our hearts for the pets RESCUE helps,” says Beate Ong, co-owner of Mane Attraction. She and her husband Kendal, co-owner and fellow stylist, adopted their own dog Einstein at the event. “Year after year, the real beneficiaries are the huggable animals that are adopted at this outstanding and important event.”
