Last week, American Salon Senior Editor Lori Morris and I checked out Rare Salon’s new Redken Color Lab at a launch party attended by press members and VIP clients. Ruth Roche, the founder of the salon, which is located in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan, said she instituted the custom-built Redken Color Lab to give clients a front-row seat as colorists select and mix haircolor. It also gives the staff an opportunity to talk to their clients about color maintenance using Pureology products.
