Matrix Hosts First-Ever National Balayage Week with Daily Education

This week Matrix launched their first-ever National Balayage Week, bringing five days of live education right to your computer. The week-long schedule of events was created to pay tribute to this tried-and-true, low maintenance and versatile color technique. As part of the celebration, MATRIX is hosting free virtual classes for hairstylists across the country, providing tips and tricks for the best color results and tips for maintaining the look at-home using the MATRIX Total Results Collection.

Below, find the full week of scheduled classes (all hosted at 1PM EST)

  • Monday, August 17th with Artistic Ambassador, Eric Vaughn on MATRIX’s Facebook page  
    • Kicking off National Balayage Week with his signature teasing and Foilayage Techniques
  • Tuesday, August 18th with Technical Director, Lenny Strand on Lenny’s Instagram page (@LennyStrand)
    • Technical Tuesday: Difference in technique, time and texture
  • Wednesday, August 19th with Creative Director, Michelle O’Connor on MATRIX’s Facebook page
    • Signature lightening techniques and working with different textures
  • Thursday, August 20th with Artistic Director, Danielle Keasling on MATRIX’s Facebook page
    • Signature sectioning and balayage techniques
  • Friday, August 21st with MATRIX Regional Educators
    • Technique videos from the brands top educators (final schedule to be announced)
