Matrix's New Programs of Passion

After the sensationally successful launch of its innovative Programs of Passion in 2014, Matrix announces an expanded line-up for 2015.  Included on the roster will be Matrix Celebrity Stylist George Papanikolas, who will conduct a session entitled “Celebrity to Reality;” iconic haircolor educator Gina Khan, who will lead a class on “Logical Color” and Matrix Artistic Director and Latina hair expert Robert Santana, who will offer a course called “Brunette Journey to Lightness.”

Last year, Programs of Passion provided hairstylists with an exciting new twist to professional education.  The series of education programs allowed Matrix Artistic Directors and Designers to craft unique sessions around the topics and techniques that reflected their personal passions. “We reasoned that by encouraging our educators to create programs around the subjects that ignited their excitement, that passion would ‘pay it forward’ and radiate to their students,” explains Matrix Vice President of Education Martin Dale.  “Turns out we were right—beyond our wildest dreams—and now this program is exploding.”

This year, thanks to the overwhelming success, the original Programs of Passion line-up will return:

·         A New Perspective with Chrystofer Benson
·         Razor’s Edge with Franco Della Grazia
·         Advanced Cutting Techniques with Daniel Roldan
·         Back to the Future with Nicholas French
·         More Than Balayage with Dan Csicsai

In addition to the above, and the new programs with Papanikolas, Khan and Santana, the 2015 program will feature:

·         Celebrity to Reality with George Papanikolas
·         Foundations Hairdressing with Michael Albor
·         Cut & Color Synergy with Steve Waldman
·         Color Savvy with Cori Randall
·         Success Now with Darci Brown
·         Pathway to Cutting with Sean Hayes
·         Create Your Signature Haircut with Tarra Dean
·         Heart + Hair = Imagine a Program of Passion with Lenny Strand

The Programs of Passion will be readily available to stylists coast to coast, thanks to the expanding network of Matrix Regional Academies.  Located in major metropolitan areas, these locations will allow “easy access” to great Matrix education:
