As of June 1 and running through August 31, Matrix is accepting applications from cosmetology students and recent grads for its 2013 Matrix Spread the Love program. For the month of June, cosmetology schools can also nominate students for the program.
The program is designed for recent grads to further their careers through education and hands-on experience by visiting salons throughout the country. To qualify, applicants must be graduated and licensed by January 1, 2013, or have graduated on or after January 1, 2011, are 21 years old and licensed.
“Spread the Love Ambassadors interact with everyone in the industry, from other stylists to salon owners to store owners, educators, manufacturers and marketers,” Matrix Marketing Director Yaniv Shapira says. “They receive an incredibly deep understanding of the business and unparalleled opportunities to network. They’re also mentored by Matrix Artistic Directors and NAHA winners, and exposed to the giving and generous ‘heart’ of this business via the charitable and philanthropic activities that they participate in through Chairs of Change.”
