Mercedes-Benz Fall ‘11 Fashion Week NYC: Sophie Theallet

At the Sophie Theallet show, which was held at Milk Studios, Antoinette Beenders for Aveda created a simple 'do topped off with a beret. She created the look by straightening the hair until it was as straight as it can be and applying Air Control to help prep and straighten the hair. Then hair was pulled back into a smooth, tight ponytail. Beenders then applied Brilliant Spray On Shine on the hair with a kabuki brush to mess it up a bit. Control Force Hairspray finished the look. A silky ribbon was loosely tied around the model's neck and over the ponytail in the back. A beret was then placed on the head.

For the makeup look, Val Garland for M.A.C created a "good girl gone bad" look. Skin was kept simple, sheer and beautiful and a soft lip complemented this. The look focused mostly on the eyes, where were made smokey. Each model was given either a green, navy or burgundy smokey eye shade. Sculpting cream was then applied to the cheeks to contour and highlight them.
