Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2013 NYC: Katya Leonovich

For Katya Leonovich's Fall/Winter 2013 collection, the models looked like walking angels, thanks to Antonio Corral Calero for Moroccanoil who created gorgeous halo-like styles that perfectly exemplified the pretty and ethereal collection by Leonovich.

To get this look, Corral Calero prepped the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment and then sprayed with the new Moroccanoil Heat Styling Protection to shield the hair from breakage and deliver a natural soft hold to locks while flat-ironing and blow drying.

Before the heat prep, Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse was added, working in 2" sections from roots to end. He then blow-dried hair straight focusing on the crown of the head to add lift and volume, then flat-iron for sleek locks. Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong was used to hold the shape.

Once hair was ironed, Corral Calero began creating the turban-like halo by crisscrossing sections of hair up and overlapping and wrapping the strands to encircle the head. To create more length and drama, extensions were pinned into the halo and also crisscrossed into place.

For the makeup, Mizu with Maybelline New York kept the focus on the eyes by creating a look that combines the looks of smoky and cat eyes. To not deter from the eyes, Mizu kept the lips nude and did some soft sculpting on the face.
