Inspired by Nico of the Velvet Underground, Erin Fetherston's Fall 2010 Collection brought together bohemian styles with rock'n'roll tailoring. Odile Gilbert for Moroccanoil followed that lead and gave all of the models long, straight hair with dramatic, face-framing bangs—a style much like Fetherston's. Many models were given extensions, and all of the bangs were styled with the Ionic Ceramic Brush for a rounded, natural look. Odile also used Hydrating Styling Cream while blow drying, Luminous Hair Spray for weightless hold and Glimmer Shine Spray to finish.
Over on the makeup side, Lucia Pica for M.A.C. Cosmetics wanted the model to look as if "she's been running in the fields," she said. Instead of traditional blush, Pica rubbed wine-colored Fearless lipstick on the cheeks for a natural glow. "I like the texture of sheer lipstick because it contains quite a bit of oil, so you get a little bit of pigment, but then the oil helps with the glowing look that we're trying to achieve," Pica explained. For the eyes, she applied Cocochino on the eyelids using a brush and dabbed a tiny bit of clear gloss in the corner.
