Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NYC Fall ‘10: Jill Stuart

Jill Stuart is known for her clothes' rocker-chic vibe, so longtime styling partner Bob Recine's "Kate Moss at 3am" inspiration was right in line with her collection. "The look is a rock 'n' roll girl whose hair is danced out," Recine said. "There's nothing perfect about beauty." Using TIGI Catwalk Your Highness Root Boost and Firm Hold Hairspray on dry hair, Recine gave the hair lots of volume that exposed its natural lines.

The makeup, designed by Charlotte Tilbury, was highlighted by a feline, smoky eye with the liner really drawn out on the sides and lots of mascara enhanced by fake lashes. The lips were treated with a beige liner and a nude pink lipstick, and the cheekbones got a sweep of bronzer. The look was finished with eyebrows that were brushed up for a fuller appearance.

The models rocked their way down the makeshift runway at the gorgeous New York Public Library, as celebs like Mena Suvari, Annalynne McCord, Michelle Trachtenberg and Nigel Barker looked on and took pictures of their favorite outfits.
