Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2014 NYC: Victoria Beckham

Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2014 collection was clean and modern, inspiring Redken Creative Consultant Guido to create a uniform hairstyle coinciding with the designers look. “Overal it’s a very minimal aesthetic, a very clean and modern look for Victoria Beckham. She wanted the hair to emphasize uniformity on the runway, which is why I pulled the hair away from the face and secured it with a basic black headband,” Guido said.

To create the hair, Guido used Satinwear 02 to prep the hair before blow-drying away from the face using a flat-brush. He secured the hair with an elastic to create a sleek ponytail about an inch from the nape of the neck. To finish the look, he sprayed the hair with Fashion Work 12 to tame flyways and placed a black headband over the head and under the ponytail.
