The Tent at Bryant Park hosted the Max Azria Spring '10 collection on Tuesday, Sept. 15. The hair and makeup were simple, yet elegant, to complement the collection's uncomplicated sophistication. The Barex Italiana Style Team, led by hairstylist Recine, gave the models a simple, low, smooth ponytail to achieve a polished look with intense shine. Recine used Barex Italiana Tricolife Serum to seal the split ends and give hair a smooth look, Barex Italiana Gloss Mousse to create volume, body and shine, and Barex Italiana Hairspray to hold hair in place.
Key makeup artist for Temptu, Lisa Butler gave models a minimimalistic, yet elegant look. "We wanted the girls to look as fresh and natural as possible," says Butler. Butler and the Temptu Pro Team used the Temptu AIRbrush Makeup System with the AIR Pod Highlighter in Champagne on low pressure to add light and sheer accents around the face, including underneath the brow bone, around the sides of the eyes, on top of the cheeks, and on the lips. Clear mascara on the lashes was the finishing touch.
