Mercedes-Benz Spring ‘11 Fashion Week NYC: Alexander Wang

At the Alexander Wang show, held at Pier 94, Guido, creative consultant for Redken, used white clay paint to create an 80's surf- and skate-punk-inspired style. The hair, which had a dreadlock feel to it, was first painted white with clay, then blow dried to dry the clay, then styled into a large knot high on the head. A spritz of Redken Force Hold Hairspray finished the look.

For the nails, Butter LONDON's Nonie Creme created a look that was very tidy and clean with no shine. To get the look, Creme applied a coat of Nail Foundation Flawless Basecoat on the nail, followed by two coats of Matte Finish Topcoat to create a chalky and frosted-glass look.
