Guido, creative consultant for Redken, described the urban, punky updos he created for the Reed Krakoff show as a "pumped up version of what girls do to their hair." To create the look, Guido prepped the hair with Redken Guts 10 to add texture, pulled it into a ponytail and pinned it into a messy bun before adding a simple black headband. He then applied Wax Blast 10 to the pieces of hair sticking out of the style and sprayed Forceful 23 as needed for hold. The esteemed Dick Page, makeup artistic director of Shiseido, created the "tough but fresh" makeup look, which featured a bronzy greenish-gray eye, glowing skin and a matte brown lip.
