Mercedes-Benz Spring ’12 Fashion Week NYC: Alexander Wang

The super wet haired look with smokey eyes

At  the Spring 2012 Alexander Wang fashion show, Guido, the lead hairstylist for Redken, gave hair a "very downtown look" to complement Wang's urban fashion. Redken 07 Full Frame Mousse took center stage as he applied an abundance of it to the hair of every model. Hair was parted to the center and then left to dry naturally to create a super wet and chic hairstyle. To complete this downtown look, Redken's new Argan6-Oil was added to give hair an extra boost of shine.

Makeup Artist Diane Kendal also kept the look very urban by using a coal pencil by M.A.C Cosmetics to create a smokey eye, making it the focus of the face. Alexander Wang partnered with Sally Hansen to create an exclusive nail color collection that included 'Parchment' a sheer, nude shade that was used on the runway.
