Paul Hanlon for Schwarzkopf Professional
Pier 57 was the steamy setting to see the Spring 2013 collection of Prabal Gurung; and while the space was indeed melty hot, the beauty of the clothes made one instantly forget about the heat. Prabal Gurung's overall theme was simply of floating angelic beings on their way to a rock show. Flowing fabric was the look in boxed-cut dress, loose trousers and gowns, and the hair was a bit of tough grunge.
Giving the touch of a rock-star edge to the look, Paul Hanlon for Schwarzkopf Professional was the lead stylist for Prabal Gurung and created piecey styles with a touch of a '90s vibe. To get the look, Hanlon prepped the hair with Osis+ Magic, an anti-frizz serum and thus created texture throughout the length with his hands and a flat iron. He kept the top flat and used Osis+ Buff to control flyaways. The goal was to simply have natural, beautiful movement to match the movement of the clothes. The looks were all set with Osis+ Elastic Flexible Hold Hairspray. 
Charlotte Tilbury for M.A.C. was the lead and kept the look extremely nude and simple.
Sally Hansen created blood dripping red nails for a serious rock star detail.
