Midas Touch

New looks from Candace Bossendorfer reflect an evolution of style without limits.

In her latest collection, seen exclusively on these pages, Candace Bossendorfer artfully blends a winter-ice ambiance with ultracool coifs to score major style points. “I am absolutely obsessed with texture at the moment,” says Bossendorfer, owner of Pomp Studio in West Hollywood, CA, who notes that some of this fall’s biggest hair and clothing trends are all about texture. “Chanel showed modern piecey hair and Gucci strutted textured, loose strands while fur punctuated Jean Paul Gaultier’s collection,” says Bossendorfer. “As we look forward—past the barrel curl—and embrace the fresh textures that feature more tousled tresses, we can be assured of one thing: There is always something evolving in the world of hair."
