Nick Stenson
Matrix Artistic Director Nick Stenson has recently been announced as JCPenney Salon’s new artistic director, a position he will hold simultaneously along with his Matrix duties.
In his newer position, he will be responsible for creating signature JCPenney styles and trends, developing training sessions and pursuing JCPenney’s salon vision. For the past eight years, as a Matrix educator, Stenson has taught in JCPenney salons to the stylists and salon leaders.
“Nick brings an impressive mix of industry experience to his new position, and I know each and every member of the JCPenney salon team will benefit from his ideas and creativity,” said Jan Hodges, senior vice president of the JCPenney salon division. “Nick’s appointment is just the beginning of the incredibly exciting plans we have for JCPenney salons.”
