Legendary hairstylist Oribe closed out the 2010 Intercoiffure Miami event, held at the Fountainbleau Hotel on May 2 and 3, with a couture-themed runway show that channeled old Miami Beach decadence. Oribe sent eight models down the catwalk wearing hairstyles he originally created for the spring/summer 2010 Armani Prive couture show and the fall/winter 2010 Emporio Armani ready-to-wear show. The new aerosols from the Oribe Hair Care line—Dry Texturizing Spray, Superfine Strong Hairspray and Soft Laquer Styling Spray—aided him in crafting the polished, modern looks. "I just wanted to give Intercoiffure a sense of chic and high fashion," Oribe said. "We had an amazing crowd and an incredible night."
The models' elegant makeup was done by makeup artist Sonia Kashuk, and the clothing from design duo The Blonds, including Britney Spears' infamous nude bodysuit from her "Toxic" music video, was selected by celebrity stylist Elle Werlin.
