Phyto Reps Get Their Hands Dirty

Phyto sales team works in the garden

Botanical hair care expert Phyto, participated in a fun way to begin rooting its philosophy in a younger generation on Sunday, January 22. Joining the K-8 students of Imagine School at Bell Canyon in Phoenix, AZ, national sales representatives for Phyto helped plant a botanical garden filled with herbs and local plants like rosemary, thyme and sage. Planting these ingredients, also found in Phyto products, gave the students the hands-on opportunity to bring their charter school’s educational mission to life.

“The garden empowers students with important character development lessons such as responsibility, collaboration, respect, and nurture,” says Linda Kiefner, regional director of Imagine Schools.

This event kicked off the company’s national sales meeting, where representatives discussed strategies for the upcoming year. In later months, Phyto will carry on this initiative through its professional salon network, by offering in-salon specials for clients on Earth Day, April 22, in the hopes of boosting fund raising efforts. —Megan Rupp
