Pureology Holds 2017 Synergy Conference in New Orleans

Pureology held its 2017 Synergy conference February 5-7th in New Orleans, LA, connecting brand ambassadors, 57 Pure Artists, and the Pureology corporate teams from the US and Canada. Held at the Renaissance Hotel in the city’s Arts District, 107 attendees spent their time learning about innovative and exciting Pureology product launches in the year ahead, a revived brand partnership with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, and ways to better themselves and their business, with the resources and education offered as Pure Artists.

Synergy opened Sunday, February 5th, with remarks from Sheri Doss, Vice President of Education for Redken and Pureology Worldwide, who acknowledged the brand as one fueled by the commitment and passion of its artistic community. Later that evening, a “Pure Fun Night” was held in the Renaissance’s Sculpture Garden, where pre-selected teams competed to have their group’s dance number selected as Pureology’s Energy for the year ahead. The teams’ dances were judged by an on-brand music selection, choreography easily mirrored, and overall presentation on stage. The winning Energy routine, created by Pure Artists Jamie Wiley, Ashley Hofstand, Emily Alders, Heather Crabtree, Shilo Burgess, and Michelle Patton, is set to “Faith” by Ariana Grande and Stevie Wonder from the motion picture Sing, and will be used to energize attendees and set the pace for the day prior to all Pureology education and training sessions in 2017.

Also debuted at Synergy are Pureology’s two new haircuts – the “Modern Shag” and the ”Effortless Crop” – which were showcased by the brand’s Global Brand Ambassador, Ruth Roche and Artistic Director, Wendy Belanger. These fresh new styles will be showcased at all 2017 trade shows and in-salon Pureology classes. Individual salons can request personal demonstrations and hands-on classes through their Pureology salon sales consultant.

The interactive conference continued through Monday and Tuesday with dynamic presentations and educational workshops led by numerous brand leaders. With social media at the forefront of personal brand building and networking, the Pureology Social Media team also led an intensive digital training spearheaded by Pureology’s Artistic Training Team (ATT), who shared their tips and best practices for social media as a salon professional. Evenings concluded with an opportunity for Synergy attendees to reconnect and socialize with those who traveled in from near and far and explore the vibrant nightlife scene New Orleans has to offer.
