Redken Road to NAHA Winner Jasmine Gibbs Selected as NAHA 2012 Finalist

Jasmine Gibbs

One of the winners of Redken’s Road to NAHA (North American Hairstyling Awards) contest, Jasmine Gibbs of Jazz It Up NYC salon in Brooklyn, NY, has been selected as a NAHA 2012 finalist. To enter the Road to NAHA contest, Gibbs had to create a signature look using Redken products. As a winner of that contest, Gibbs had the opportunity to be mentored by Redken Education Artistic Director and past NAHA Master Hairstylist of the Year winner Kris Sorbie to create a submission for NAHA 2012.

Gibbs has now been named a NAHA 2012 finalist for the New Comer of the Year and Texture categories and awaits the final results. (Click here to read our exclusive interview with Gibbs and Sorbie on the mentorship process.) “This would not have been possible without the support of everyone at Redken,” Gibbs said. “Thank you so much!”

The NAHA 2012 winners will be announced on July 22 at PBA Beauty Week at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, NV. For a list of all finalists, visit —Aja Edwards
