René Furterer Promotes Hairstyling Education in California

Renowned artistic director for René Furterer, Philippe Tapprest, recently held a styling event at San Francisco’s Postrio restaurant during which he created a variety of hair looks from fluffy curls and voluminous waves to sculpted smooth updos. René Furterer Vegetal Styling Vegetal Mousse, Modeling Paste and Vegetal Finishing Spray were essential to achieving the looks. Meanwhile, Amita Moticka, DiPietro Todd Academy’s co-founder and academy director of haircutting, continued René Furterer’s education platform in San Diego at a swanky event at the Andaz Hotel. Demonstrating to a roomful of viewers, Moticka crafted six different styles featuring a wide range of textures from braids to slicked-back tresses. Check out the videos below for a glimpse of all the action. —Ivy Tan
