Last week celebrity stylist Ric Pipino for his salon Pipino 57 - Wella Professionals Flagship, hosted the special press event Hamptons Hair & Newport Nails featuring Hotheads Hair Extensions, Deborah Lippmann and Keratin Complex.
Hair experts at Hotheads Hair Extensions welcomed local editors for a special blow-out and hair extension service to show their line of extensions that promises to have clients in and out of the salon in 45 minutes. These specific extensions are made of high quality human hair and require no heat and no tools as they adhere to the hair with a water-tight adhesive tab. One application is designed to last up to 10 weeks. A big hit internationally, the company also has had much success with their fashion line of temporary faux hair snap-ins in an array of candy colors called Snappies.
American Salon editors were on hand to give each of these treatments a try. After receiving a luxurious blow-out, Executive Editor Lotus Abrams got a major splash of pizazz added to her cute bob with a Snappies hair piece in bright purple. For myself, (Senior Editor Jolene Turner) I tried out the regular extensions with the water-tight adhesive, but, instead of a full-blown hair extension set, I did two accent pieces in electric blue. To date the extensions are still in my hair making me look edgy and fun!
The pop of blue: Hotheads Hair Extensions
During the hair service Deborah Lippmann manicurists spruced up editors' nails and showed off their new 3D Holographic Nail Lacquers Ray of Light, a vibrant indigo, and Sweet Dreams, a snazzy bright pink. Editors all received gift bags with the new nail lacquers and product from Keratin Complex.
