Robert Talty, celeb hair designer, styled Sky Ferreira’s high-volume, beachy waves on the set of the music video for her song “One.” “I wanted to create long-lasting volume with soft movement, while bringing out the natural texture,” Talty said.
To create the look, Talty applied René Furterer Volumea Leave-In Volumizing Foam evenly through Ferreira’s wet hair and blow-dried it with a T3 Tourmaline Evolution Blow Dryer until it was almost dry to keep the waves intact. Talty then spritzed random sections with Bumble and bumble Surf Spray for beachy texture and finished blow-drying with her head upside down for added volume. To fine tune around her face, Talty applied René Furterer Styling Solution Strong Hold and blow-dried using a small Mason Pearson flat brush. He then redirected and added extra lift to locks around the hairline with Rsessions Root Control pressing comb and tamed baby fine hairs with a few strokes of clear mascara.
