The Midwest’s vast hills inspired the eloquent updo styles in this collection by Aurilla Goldsmith.

Hairstylist Aurilla Goldsmith, an assistant to world-famous hairdresser Martin Parsons, hoped to embody the beauty of the Midwest’s plains and knolls through the sophisticated updos in the collection seen on these pages. “Embrace your roots and let your true beauty shine through your creative work,” Goldsmith says. She compared the styles to a summer storm, and describes them as simultaneously electric and eloquent.
