Salon Daniel Supports Autism Research at Gala

Salon Daniel recently helped sponsor the Arts for Autism Gala on November 6 in Arlington, VA, to support the Autism Society of Northern Virginia (ASNV). As the only salon sponsor for the event, which raised a total of $58,000 for the ASNV, Salon Daniel, based in McLean, VA, donated more than $2,000 worth of hair and make-up services for the gala’s runway show. “Autism affects so many families, in so many ways, and we were passionate about helping out with the gala to make it a success and do what we can to support autism research,” said Daniel Bechara, acclaimed celebrity hairstylist and owner of Salon Daniel.

Ever since it opened in 1991, Salon Daniel has been dedicated to providing quality hair services in a stylish and family-friendly setting. The salon, which offers clients a luxurious and relaxing experience, has been featured in a number of publications including Vogue and Washingtonian, and owner Bechara has styled hair for clients such as Liv Tyler, her father, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The ASNV is an organization focused on providing information and support to individuals and families living with autism spectrum disorders through various programs, mini-grants, workshops, fundraising events and more, and currently serves more than 1,000 families affected by autism in the Northern Virginia area.
