The Salon Fixer is in

Imagine hiring a personal salon coach for the price of a haircut. Now you can. Cory Couts, a globally recognized expert in salon management and leadership, has been teaching salon owners worldwide how to capitalize on success and grow their businesses for almost 15 years. I met Cory when he worked for KMS. Now he's taken his expertise online by launching a new Web site called . "I've always wanted to give hairdressers a world tour of salons and my own particular brand of advice in a way they can easily afford," Cory told me recently. "Unfortunately, the technology to do this was not available before, but now we can give salons inspiration and information in daily doses so they don't have to remember everything they learned in that last seminar or course they took."

In a revolutionary and innovative new venture, Cory has teamed up with renowned Hollywood creative agency Reza & Co., which has created DVD graphics for Disney, a string of movies and the hit TV series Scrubs and Grey's Anatomy. They've created the first and only video-based salon management and stylist inspiration program. Launching this month, the user-friendly, subscriber-based Web site provides a behind-the-scenes, all-access look at some of the world's most successful salons. "It will feature stories and business advice that is hip, relevant and exciting for our subscribers," Cory says. "Plus, the subscription price will pay for itself if we help salons attract just one new client, which will be just the start of their business growth."

The subscription-based Web site offers daily doses of business-building information, tours of the most successful salons in the world and interviews with successful salon owners.

Another plus is that inspirational video interviews will be kept online for subscribers to refer to again and again. "We will be accumulating an archive of interviews with today's salon visionaries as well as some people who just need a little help," he says. Your subscription not only includes video-based salon management guidance, a daily dose of top business-building information, interviews with the world's most successful salon owners and tours of salons all over the world, but also the opportunity to e-mail Cory for advice as often as you like. Take a look at their Web site today. I was blown away when I saw it for the first time, and I think you will be, too. —Brett Vinovich, publisher, [email protected]
