Kurt Garehime, president of Allvus, LLC dba The Sam Villa Company, announced Tom King’s promotion to vice president sales, distribution effective January 1. King joined The Sam Villa Company as Midwest Regional Sales Manager in 2009 and has been instrumental in the company’s expansion from limited regional to nationwide distribution in both the United States and Canada. Prior to working for The Sam Villa Company, he served as a U.S. Marine and is a licensed cosmetologist with more than a decade of management experience in the beauty industry.
Following two years of doubling company sales and more of the same expected in 2013, additional sales managers received promotions, as well. Mark Kavonian and Jennifer Hoke were promoted to the positions of western and eastern divisional sales manager, respectively. According to Garehime, new sales initiatives, products and promotions are expected to spur continued growth through 2013. —Jennifer Barnes
