Showtime in Florida

Florida in August is hot to begin with, but just ask the 43,000-plus beauty professionals who flocked to Orlando on August 28-29, and they'll tell you it was even hotter at the Premiere Orlando 2005 show, held at the Orange County Convention Center. From the Main Stage to the exhibit floor to the classrooms, the show offered attendees two jam-packed days that sizzled with educational offerings for hair, nails, skincare and the salon/spa business, not to mention some of the most amazing hair artistry and cutting-edge products in the world. In the International Hair & Fashion Theater, the audience thrilled to the talent of Nick Arrojo, Wella; Martin Parsons; Robert Cromeans, Paul Mitchell; James Morrison, TIGI; Scott Cole and Linda Yodice, Paul Mitchell The Color; Jill Leitz and Brent Borreson, Redken 5th Avenue NYC; Riccardo and Tony Altieri, Retro Hair; Sandra Yu and the Rusk artistic team; Albie Mulcahy and Dwight Miller, Sahag; Richard Ashforth and Stacey Broughton, BaByliss PRO; and Wayne Grund.
