Signature Service: Tea Time

Maria Bonita Salon & Spa in New York City is known for fashion-forward cuts, gorgeous color, and indulgent hair treatments and nail services, but the staff also pampers guests with complimentary custom tea blends from The Teaologist. Berry Bonita, for example, is packed with beauty-boosting ingredients like hibiscus, a favorite of Maria Bonita owner Fernanda Lacerda. “Drinking tea has been regarded as the key to health, happiness and wisdom for thousands of years,” Lacerda says. “Hibiscus tea is touted as helping in weight loss and is also a natural aid to reducing high blood pressure.” For special events ranging from Fashion’s Night Out to Mother’s Day soirees, Maria Bonita Salon & Spa offers guests custom cocktails created by The Tealogist, such as this delicious sparkling wine-based drink. —L.A.
