The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) will be hosting the 17th annual International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE) January 30th-February 1st, 2016 in Long Beach, California. PBA announced this week that they are bringing in social influencers and makeup artists Lora Arellano and Angel Merino to chat and take photos with fans.
Makeup artist and owner of Melt cosmetics, @lora_arellano, who has 1 million Instagram followers will be available at the PBA Booth (#2422) on Sunday, January 31 from 12:00pm-1:00pm to chat with and take pictures with.
Celebrity makeup artist Angel Merino, @mac_daddyy, who has 1 million Instagram followers as well, will be available at the PBA Booth (#2422) on Sunday, January 31 from 1:00pm-2:00pm to chat with and take pictures with.
Angel Merino is an American celebrity makeup artist, beauty mogul, entrepreneur and artistic director. He became interested in a career in beauty at a very young age. Merino landed his first high-profile job working for the HGTV network as key makeup artist on projects such as 2013's Celebrity Holiday Homes. He has since worked closely with some of the industry's top photographers, models, and Hollywood stars such as Fifth Harmony, Christina Milian, Chanel Iman, Mel B and Cassie. Merino works hard to inspire others through beauty and act as a positive voice for the Latino and LGBT community.
Makeup artist Lora Arellano proves that hard work pays off and dreams really do come true! With over an astounding 950k + followers, Lora recently made the list of “Top 10 Makeup Artist to follow on Instagram”. Her passion for beauty is electric, and has gained her a loyal following across all of her social platforms. Lora’s fans consist of top makeup artists and consumers who are drawn to her dramatic transformations using her face as the canvas. When Lora isn’t busy creating content, she is working with her diverse celebrity clientele, which includes; Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Viola Davis, to Serena Williams. The International Salon and Spa Expo (ISSE) 2016 will include over 200 education classes in hair, nail, skin and business as well as over 400 exhibitors that will feature the hottest tools and professional products.
