This Sunday, October 21, Andis Company is sponsoring the ‘Be Brave and Shave’ world record attempt to shave the most heads in an hour at the Brookfield Soccer Complex in Brookfield, WI. The attempt is being made by a team of 10 stylists led by co-owners of Roots Salon, Naomi Prusinski and Shannon Lopez. The event will benefit CureSearch for Children’s Cancer and Haven Anderson, a 2-year-old who was diagnosed with stage IV neuroblastoma.
Andis is providing the team with Envy Professional Clippers, Experience Cordless Clippers and SuperLine Trimmers to shave the heads of 400 volunteers. The current Guinness World Record is 318 heads, set in 2011 in Ireland.
