Jessica Chastain

Earlier this week, actress Jessica Chastain stepped out in New York City for the screening of her new film Lawless at the Paley Center for Media. Chastain, also the new face of Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), wore a vintage YSL dress, YSL shoes and Tom Binns bracelets. The actress’ hair featured a deep part and was swept to the right with loose, cascading waves styled by Ted Gibson using his product line. Gibson started with Build It Blow-Drying agent to build body and smooth the cuticle; he sprayed directly at the scalp and ran Hairsheet Styling through the mid-lengths and ends. Next, he blow-dried the hair with a large round brush to smooth and define then created a deep side part to open Chastain’s face. Gibson curled her entire head with a small iron to create soft, sexy waves that weren’t too perfect looking or formal to ensure they appeared fresh, modern and young. Finally, after spraying Beautiful Hold Hairspray, Gibson used his fingers to break up the waves and soften the entire look.
