TIGI Copyright Colour 2016 Tour Kicks Off

In 2015, hairdressing legend, TIGI Founder and International Artistic Director Anthony Mascolo made it his mission to take the brand back-to-basics. Keeping with the philosophy “By Hairdressers, For Hairdressers,” Mascolo and TIGI Global Technical Creative Director Christel Lundqvist designed the copyright colour Tour as an educational tool for stylists across the US to hone in on skills from cutting to styling, with a keen focus on the popular TIGI copyright colour line.

The 2016 tour will include 6 stops as TIGI continues to establish themselves as the ultimate authority in professional haircare and education. Each event begins with cut and color techniques found in the 2016 TIGI Collection, and is rounded out with a deep dive into the Copyright Colour line of intermixable demi-permanent and permanent shades, including an exclusive debut of the new Custom Collection Blondes campaign that launches May 2016.

On Sunday, February 28th and Monday, February 29th, TIGI’s Anthony Mascolo, Akos Bodi, Thomas Osborn, Richy Kandasamy, Joel Torres, Christel Lundqvist and Gina Khan traveled to Miami & Orlando fo officially kick off the 2016 tour. This ‘dream team’ wowed over 230 total attendees with cut, colour & style techniques, the debut of Custom Collection Blondes, news of Gina Khan’s arrival at TIGI, and a tutorial of the TIGI 24/7 mobile application.

About: TIGI was conceived by the Mascolo brothers providing them with the ‘liquid tools’ to style and finish their hairstyles. Inspirational educational programs motivate and inspire hairdressers and provide them with the information to create the latest haircuts using TIGI products.  The products are promoted by hair cut ‘collections’ created by the TIGI Creative Team and photographed by Anthony Mascolo who leads the image and creative side of the business.
