Ultimate Beauty Companies (UBC) recently donated $3,000 worth of professional haircare products to Working Wardrobes, an independent, nonprofit organization that helps men and women in crises, re-enter the workforce through wardrobing and career development. “The goal of the Working Wardrobes organization is to move men and women from crisis to self-sufficiency," says Cynthia Heisser, senior vice president of UBC. "I love that by donating products we can help people overcome their challenges, get back on their feet and get back to work."
In addition to donating products to be distributed to Working Wardrobes patrons, UBC also plans to teach makeup and hair styling tips to women at the 20th Annual Day of Self-Esteem in spring 2010.
