Wellington Hair Spa Hosts Pre-Fashion Week Pampering Party

To kick off New York Fashion Week, Wellington Hair Spa in Manhattan invited beauty editors to stop by for some pampering, champagne and mini cupcakes. Salon owner Patrick Wellington was on hand for blow outs and styling, and manicurists from M2M DamoreJon were also available. The salon regularly offers a variety of services, including coloring, intensive conditioning and cuts for all hair types and textures.

M2M offers a rainbow of nail polishes ranging from neon yellow to a sparkly glitter. I chose a dark crimson that almost looks black, but has a tiny hint of red. While getting my nails done, I learned that M2M DamoreJon's founder, Myrdith Leon-McCormack, is Haitian and her company has been donating a percentage of each bottle of polish they sell to the Carma Foundation, a nonprofit dedicating to assisting people in Haiti.
