As this issue went to press, Mercedes-Benz Fall/Winter 2008 Fashion Week in New York City was winding down, but we've just started talking about spring/summer 2008 in the pages of this magazine. All week long I've been at the shows, watching models walk the runway in coats and hats, woolen skirts and tights. Then I come back to the office to edit film from the spring/summer shows. Sometimes it's difficult to remember who's on first, but that's the wacky world of fashion, which is always six months ahead. In this issue, we've got a big surprise for all you fashionistas out there, who would love nothing more than to be backstage at the shows in New York City, Paris, Milan and London.
